Ana Spranger is currently a freshman at Greendale High School. She is involved in school sports such as track and cross country and has high aspirations for her future including New York and another trip to Jamaica. She lives in Greendale with her Mom, Dad, sister and adorable dog named Ziggy (after Ziggy Marley!).
Our family first met Ana when she and our older son were about 4 years old. We have enjoyed seeing all that Ana has accomplished so far and we look forward to seeing where her future successes take her. Ana is a joy to know!
Q: What is your favorite restaurant in Greendale?
A: Applebee’s.
Q: Is there something special that you like to eat at Applebee’s?
A: Yes, a cheeseburger.
Q: How long have you lived in Greendale?
A: My whole life. I’m 15.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Greendale?
A: My teacher: Mrs. C. (Mrs. Czerwinski)
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be? And why?
A: Jamaica. Ya, mon! I love cheese fries, staying up late and swimming in the pool. Not the ocean. Too salty! (Ana has been to Jamaica twice already and going again this year!)
Ana also mentioned that she likes Fat Lake near Lac du Flambeau. Ana’s Mom shared that they go there every summer with extended family. They rent 3 cabins to house about 10-12 family members and stay for a week. How fun!
Q: What is your favorite movie?
A: Annie. All 4 of them! (The original Annie, Disney Annie, the newly released Annie, and Annie: A Royal Adventure)
Q: What is the first movie you remember seeing in a theatre?
A: Bolt.
Q: What advice would you give a crowd of people?
A: Be polite.
Q: What is something on your bucket list?
A: Golfing and tennis.
Q: What is your favorite music?
A: Annie, Frozen, the Chicken Dance, Kidz Bop.
Q: Choosing anyone alive and a non-relative: with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? Where in Greendale would you have lunch?
A: Connor. He is a friend in Greendale. In the Village at Ferch’s.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about Greendale?
A: The bands at Village Days. I like the loud music and to dance.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?
A: College in New York and I want to work at Applebee’s.
Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?
A: I had heart surgery when I was 6 months old. I do bowling, basketball skills and track & field for Special Olympics.

A: Family, safe, friends
Q: If you were cast into a major motion picture and had your choice of anyone to be your co-star, who would you choose?
A: Molly from Annie and Jayden Smith from Karate Kid.

A: Nanny and a butler.
