I am a single mom with 2 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. If you come to my house, you are guaranteed to leave with hair on you.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I have 2 kids, they are 10 and 12. My dogs are huge! Their names are Norman (golden retriever) and Lulu (Bernese Mountain Dog mix) together they weight 200lbs.

Q: Please tell us about your current career. What do you love most about what you do?
COVID turned my professional life upside down, I lost my business and started job searching. Thankfully, I was hired this fall by Greendale Schools! And I LOVE IT!!! I get to work with kids all day! My favorite is hearing how excited kids get about things! To have that much joy is contagious, it just makes me smile! The staff and students are so amazing and friendly! This is one thing I am grateful COVID brought into my life, I would have never found this job without it.

Q: Please tell us about any volunteering that you have done or currently do.
I am a group fitness instructor and for the last 7 years I have been holding a Thanksgiving Day Charity Class! This year we held a Zumba at Class A Fitness for Type 1 Diabetes! My son was diagnosed in May 2016, so this Charity was for JDRF. Amy (the owner of Class A Fitness) was amazing and let us use her gym. Class A Fitness has a great set up to keep us safe/ social distancing plus a virtual option. Amy also helped the cause by continuing to raise money for Type 1 Diabetes with her gym goers! In May 2021, I hope to hold a free Twilight “Glow Blue” bike ride for Type 1 Diabetes Awareness! (Stay tuned!)

Q: Please tell us about any interesting or unique hobbies that you have?
