Muddassir Mohiuddin is a physical therapist and founder of Therapy at Home. Muddassir and his team not only provide a valuable service with in-home therapy, they also volunteer their time and expertise in various ways within the Village. One example is that Muddassir is a Board of Health advisor to the Greendale Health Department. You will also see Muddassir and his staff actively volunteering at Greendale events. Therapy at Home was recognized in 2022 by the Greendale Chamber of Commerce as the Community Service Winner and Business of the Year.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I am married to Pari with children Kamran (7yrs old) and Kamilah (4yrs old). We moved to Greendale in 2018 from Bay View. Primary deciding factor was the better school district and a home with an amazing view of Whitnall Park.
Q: Please tell us about your current career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a physical therapist by profession, I absolutely love to care for my patients to help them manage their musculoskeletal disorders (conditions related to muscle and bones) and neurological conditions that impact my patients’ ability to do what they love the most such as participating in sports or recreation activities to get work or essential movements.
Q: Please tell us about any volunteering that you have done or currently do.
Currently I volunteer for the Greendale Health department as Steering Board Member, Dementia Subcommittee of Successful Aging for everyone in Greendale and actively participate in the Fourth of July parade, Lions Club Family Fourth Fest, and Village days; Greendale Entertainment Association and Greendale Chamber of Commerce. Former board member of the Greendale Chamber of Commerce.
Q: Please tell us about any interesting or unique hobbies that you have?
I love to bike, hike, read and I am currently developing a love for kettlebell workouts.
Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in Greendale? What do you love there?
Coffee is my favorite beverage so you may find me at Broad Street Coffee Company or Dia Cafe.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Greendale?
I have lived in Greendale for 5 years.
Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Greendale?
Marilyn Lang and Mary Jean Green who are extremely passionate about community health improvement and dementia in Greendale. Truly inspirational as they continue to contribute and lead the SAGE and Dementia subcommittee.
Q: If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?
I would love to travel to Makkah with my family to perform my Hajj (Pilgrimage)
Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?
Not a hobbyist of watching TV shows or Movies
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Everyone has something to contribute to the community as every individual is an outcome of unique experiences. Having empathy and becoming curious will open numerous doors of opportunities.
Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about Greendale?
I believe we have a unique downtown experience in Greendale.
Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about Greendale?
My favorite thing about Greendale is my home. I especially enjoy overlooking Whitall Park and enjoying the wildlife with numerous birds and deer in our backyard.
Q: What is the most beautiful place you have ever been?
Every place is beautiful except it is extra special when my family is with me.

Favorite month of Gregorian Calendar is September; Favorite Month of Islamic Calendar: Ramadan; Favorite Religious holiday: Eid ul-Adha; Favorite non-religious holiday: 4th of July
