Even though Greendale has grown since my start here, it keeps the small town feel. The story of how I began my life here is one of the reasons I love Greendale. My father worked for the State of Wisconsin building Hwy 36 (Loomis Road). While on that project, he needed a haircut and found Bailey’s Barber Shop in the Village center. Shortly after that haircut, my parents were looking for a home in Greendale. Four months after they moved in, I began my life here. – Julie Goetz
