Abigail, please tell us about your current plans after high school. What inspired you to choose this path?

I plan to major in Nursing at UW- Green Bay in the fall of 2020. What inspired me to choose this path was my want to help others, by choosing to major in nursing I could not only help change lives but also help others feel better.

 

Please tell us a little bit about your family.

I am the youngest in my family. I have a mom (Liz) and dad (Mark) and two older siblings (Taylor and Noah).

 

What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in Greendale?

Most of my favorite restaurants are not in Greendale but if I had to choose one it would be Ferch’s.

 

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

Hawaii, because I went there at the start of this year and I loved it so much and wish I was back there.

 

Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in Greendale?

I don’t know if I’ve met anyone interesting throughout my experiences at Greendale but someone I met who has left a huge mark on my life in a positive way is Emilia Drought.

 

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

I love Marvel movies, all of them honestly. Friends, Greys Anatomy and Supernatural are some of my favorite TV shows.

 

What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?

“You can do so much more than you are doing right now, if you just put your mind to it.” – Although I don’t recall which teacher said this to me.

 

What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

I don’t listen to many bands but my mom and I like listening to 80s music together so Queen or AC/DC.

 

If you could choose anyone that is alive today, and not a relative: with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where in Greendale would you meet for lunch?

Kobe Bryant, he was not only an amazing basketball player but he seemed so sweet and had a great personality.

 

What is your favorite thing or something unique about Greendale?

My favorite thing about Greendale is the people I have met who have been there for me since day one. Something unique about Greendale is how close everything is to one another; everyone knows where everything is and you don’t have to go far to get somewhere in Greendale.

 

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

I see myself working as a Pediatric Nurse with my BSN, most likely going back to school to get my MSN.

 

What show are you binge watching right now?

Grey’s Anatomy

 

Favorite month? Holiday? And best single day on the calendar?

My favorite month is July, my favorite holiday is Christmas, and my favorite single day on the calendar is the 4th of July.

 

Who inspires you to be better?

Definitely my family, but if I had to pick one, I would choose my sister, Taylor.

 

If you could go back over your entire school career what is the one thing you would do different?

I would’ve taken more AP & Honors Classes and maybe joined a few clubs.

 

Who or what do you miss the most right now?

I think I miss the routine of going to school and seeing the people that I’ve been seeing everyday since 6th grade.

 

What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?

Go shopping or go to the beach.
