David, please tell us about your current plans after high school. What inspired you to choose this path?

I’ll be attending St. Norbert College, where I plan to major in Biology. I chose St. Norbert because I really liked the campus and wanted to be able to swim competitively.

 

Please tell us a little bit about your family.

I’m the oldest of three, with two younger siblings: a sister who is a freshman and a brother in the 7th grade. My mom is a dietitian and my dad is an engineer. We also have a dog named Poppy.

 

What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in Greendale?

Ferch’s and the Panther Pub

 

If you could travel anywhere in the world right now, where would it be and why?

I would probably want to go to Florida, just because I wasn’t able to during Spring Break because of coronavirus.

 

What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

Avengers: Endgame

 

What’s the best advice you ever received from a teacher? Who was the teacher?

I really learned the importance of studying hard and doing more work outside of class from my AP teachers throughout my sophomore and junior years.

 

What is your go to band when you can’t decide what to listen to?

I’ve always liked Imagine Dragons

 

If you could choose anyone that is alive today, and not a relative: with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where in Greendale would you meet for lunch?

Right now, I would really want to have lunch with a large group of my friends because I haven’t been able to spend time with anyone throughout this quarantine.

 

What is your favorite thing or something unique about our Greendale?

I really like the size of Greendale and the fact that you know almost everyone who lives there.

 

Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

I would like to have graduated college and really have a set plan for the rest of my future. Right now, I think that I would want to be a Physician’s Assistant, so would want to have begun my career.

 

What show are you binge watching right now?

The 100

 

Favorite month? Holiday? And best single day on the calendar?

My favorite month is August, my favorite holiday is probably Christmas and the best day on the calendar would probably be August 8th.

 

Who inspires you to be better?

I’m mainly inspired by myself and my friends.

 

If you could go back over your entire school career what is the one thing you would do different?

I would probably put more effort into studying and homework in the early years of high school.

 

Who or what do you miss the most right now?

Being able to go out and do things and being able to be with my friends.

 

What’s the first thing you want to do when this quarantine is over?

Spend time with my friends doing something fun.
